One of the greatest acts of selfless love is leaving your loved ones behind to provide for them.

Here’s a short snippet of my conversation with one of my OFW clients. We met online and had the opportunity to talk about the value of life insurance, especially as a breadwinner working far from home.

In one of our chats, after our face-to-face meeting, she told me:

“Nga po pala, I was so moved po nung nakilala ko kayo ni hubby n’yo. Like how both of you are so into financial literature. Nai-inspire n’yo po ako kung paano pa lalo mag-manage ng pera, and I hope we can build more relationship soon, hindi lang po sa Sun Life. :)”

Messages like this remind me that what we do goes beyond insurance.

If we can inspire even one person to become more intentional with their finances and prepare for their family’s future, then we’re exactly where we’re meant to be.
