I've never been into branded and expensive clothes.
Most of my clothes is either ukay-ukay or tiangge or kaya naman ay bigay sakin.
I even have fewer set of clothes that I always wear.
And I don't care.
Why? Because I believe, my clothes doesn't speak for my entire personality.
I'd rather be remembered with the value I can share and attitudes I have than my fancy clothes or accessories.
That's how I think. That's my mindset. That's how my core values operate.
And I'm operationg based on my practical values in life. 😅
Nanghihinayang kasi ako to spend on material things kaya I'd rather spend it with things that will allow me to create memories.
And nasanay na inuuna ang iba lalo na ang pamilya.
Plus, I never grow up with a silver or golden spoon.
PERO IBA PALA YUNG FEELING TO FINALLY BE ABLE TO BUY THESE THINGS KASI MAY SOBRA NA. 🥺😭
AT MAS KAKAIBA YUNG FEELING KAPAG LIBRE PA 😅
That's why I shift my mindset. 🤣
At ang mantra ko na ngayon ay:
"Work until your luxury and comfort becomes free & sponsored."
Is it possible?
Yes. We've always seen that. Akala ko dati chenes lang sa social media. Pero posible pala. Hindi man kasing big time ng iba. But perks is perks and free is free. 🥰
How did I do it?
Simple lang. Aim to provide value to people.
Whether it's sharing your skills through services.
Whether selling a product that can help with other people's problems
Or whether it's making other people happy or inspired by being and sharing your most authentic self:
👉 AIM TO PROVIDE VALUE. ALWAYS.
Why? Because where there is value. There is money.
Kaya nga ang pera is just a symbol of value diba?
It really doesn't have a value. It's just a paper.
Tayo ang nagbibigay ng value to it.
In exchange for something valuable.
So when you become skilled and valuable, opportunities will chase you. Money is easier to access kasi you know you can provide value.
PS. May problema pa rin sa pera. Of course. But your problem is not just about surviving day to day anymore.
Kaya minsan magugulat ka na lang, yung pinapangarap or pinagdadasal mo nandyan na.
Yung bagay na hinihiling mo. Unti unti binibigay na sayo.
This is why I say, PINAGPAPALA ANG MGA MAPAGBIGAY.
Hindi lang sa pera. Kasi hindi lang naman pera ang may value.
Kundi,
Generous sa time
Generous sa resources.
Generous in giving valuable lessons or inspirations.
At mga taong hindi nag iintay ng kapalit kapag tumutulong.
Kaya sa nagbabasa nito.
Isa lang ang panalangin ko.
That you get what you want in life.
While doing the things you love.
Whether it's being an employee, a freelancer, a business owner, an investor, or a content creator.
I hope you do things that make you happy.
And someday, get the things you want for free & sponsored.
Hindi madali.
Pero kaya mo.
Hindi madali.
Pero dahil gusto mo.
At masaya ka dito.
Kaya kakayanin mo.
Aim to provide value to the world and other people.
