“The rain is loud, but what matters most is the calm inside your home.”

Top 3 Reminders for Families During the Typhoon

1. Prepare with your partner.
Divide the calm.
If you’re with your partner, decide who’s on logistics and who’s on kid-duty.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 One handles charging, water, supplies.
🧸 The other entertains or soothes the baby.
You’re a team. You don’t have to carry it all alone.

2. Prepare the baby and the children’s needs.
Prep baby needs like you’re packing for a road trip.
Because when the power cuts and the rain gets loud, you won’t want to dig around.
🍼 Formula/milk + extra water
🧷 Diapers + wipes + baby meds
🎶 A toy or two they love
👶🏽 Change of clothes (for them and you)

Keep it all in one reachable bag. Not scattered in three drawers.

3. Create a “storm bubble” for your family.
Even when the wind is howling, you can make your home feel safe.
🛏 Set up one room for sleeping together, so no one feels alone.
📺 Download movies or lullabies in case WiFi dies.
🫶 Keep routines if you can—same bedtime, same story. Familiar = safe.

📩 Send this to someone who’s tired, physically and spiritually.
Maybe that someone is you.

You’ve been holding it together for a while now.
Doing what needs to be done, showing up even when your heart feels heavy.

You’re tired, and that’s okay.
Even Jesus rested in the middle of the storm.
He wasn’t afraid to sleep while the waves crashed.
That’s not recklessness. That’s trust.

So if your body is tired, rest.
If your soul is tired, pray.
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
You are not weak for needing a pause.
You are wise for knowing when to surrender.

And no, God has not forgotten you.
He sees your effort. He hears the sighs no one else does.
He’s not asking you to prove anything.
He’s just asking you to come to Him.

Matthew 11:28 —
“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
You’re allowed to rest.
You’re allowed to breathe.

The world will keep turning, and God will keep holding you.

Top 3 Spiritual Reminders During a Typhoon
Because storms test not just our homes, but also our faith.

1. Anchor your heart before the wind shakes your roof.
Before tuning in to the weather update, tune in to the Word.
God’s promises calm what panic can’t.

2. Pray for others, not just for yourself.
Storms remind us we’re not alone.
A simple prayer for your neighbor is already an act of grace.

3. The storm may be strong, but God is stronger.
Let Psalm 46:1 be your shelter: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

5 Money Moves For Rainy Days

Do these 5 small things today and your wallet will thank you tomorrow.

1. Keep cash and coins in a waterproof pouch.
Digital payments aren’t reliable during brownouts or when there's no signal. Having physical cash lets you buy essentials when online systems are down.

2. Track every gasto, kahit bariya.
Little expenses during a storm can quickly add up: jeep/bus/tricycle fares, instant noodles, delivery fees. Listing them down helps you stay aware and in control.

3. Delay non-urgent purchases.
Now isn’t the time for online budol or shopping “pang-stress relief.” Save your funds for actual needs like food, medicine, or unexpected repairs.

4. Stretch what’s in your pantry.
Get creative with what’s already available so you can avoid unplanned grocery runs or spending more during peak prices. Tipid + safe = smart.

5. List all storm-related gastos.
This helps with budgeting later, and if you need to ask for financial help, it shows exactly where your money went. It also prepares you better for future emergencies.

Save this. Comment below and tag a friend who needs to see this. :)

Send this to someone bracing for the storm.

A Prayer for Protection During Typhoons:

Lord, we lift up every home, every heart, and every community in the path of this storm. Cover us with Your protection. Keep us safe from floods, landslides, fear, and harm. Calm the winds outside and the worry inside.

Give strength to frontliners, wisdom to leaders, and peace to those waiting for updates. Help us prepare, not just with supplies, but with faith.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

We hope everyone's safe and dry. It has been raining lately.

Here are 3 Emergency Tips You Shouldn’t Ignore:

1. Pack a go-bag that actually helps.
Don’t just throw random stuff in a backpack.
✔ Water
✔ Whistle
✔ Power bank
✔ Flashlight
✔ First-aid kit
✔ Extra cash and clothes
✔ Important IDs (laminated or ziplocked)

2. Know your exit plan.
Where’s the nearest evacuation center?
What’s the flood line in your area?
Who do you call first?
Emergency response is faster when you already have a plan.

3. Charge everything before the storm hits.
Phone. Power bank. Flashlight. Even your neighbor’s if they ask.
Brownouts don’t warn you; they just happen.

Tropical Storm Crising (international name: Wipha) slightly intensified early this morning, but it's comforting to know that it’s heading northwest, away from the country, according to the state weather bureau.

Still, let this be your sign: don’t wait for the next alert to get ready.

This isn’t just for “when it happens.”
This is for before it does.
Save this post. Share it with someone you care about.
Because being ready is the most underrated flex.

Not every battle is visible.
Some of the hardest fights happen in silence: in your mind, in your spirit, when no one’s watching.

Here are 5 reminders for those moments:

1. You’re not weak for feeling weary.
Even Jesus rested. Rest is holy.

2. You’re allowed to pause.
Burnout isn’t your calling. Breathing is part of the breakthrough.

3. You’re not alone in this fight.
God isn’t just on the other side of your healing; He’s with you always.

4. Your small steps still count.
That one silent “yes” to keep going? God sees it. And it matters.

5. Faith isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s just choosing to try again, quietly, consistently, faithfully.

If this spoke to you, save it.

You’re not falling behind, you’re building strength no one can take from you.

15/07/2025

You don’t have to have it all figured out today.

God isn’t asking for perfection.

Even when it feels like you’re starting over for the tenth time, grace says:
You still belong here. Keep going.

The quiet seasons, the slow days, the silent battles, they’re not wasted.
They’re where strength is built, faith is refined, and character is formed.

If all you did today was try again, that’s enough.
Because in God’s timing, every step counts, even the small ones.

You’re not falling behind. You’re being prepared.
