Ngayong Breast Cancer Awareness month, nagbigay ng libreng breast cancer screening at mammogram ang Quezon City Government at AIA Philippines sa mga kawani ng lokal na pamahalaan.
Binisita ni Mayor Joy Belmonte ang isinagawang Hope for the Breast program, kasama sina AIA Philippines Chief Marketing Officer Melissa Henson, Quezon City Health Department (QCHD) OIC Dr. Ramona Abarquez, General Services Department (GSD) Head Fe Bass, Chief Healthcare Operations Officer Dr. Dave Vergara, at Chief-of-Staff Rowena Macatao.
Bukod sa mobile breast screening, bukas din ang 66 na health center sa lungsod para sa lahat ng kababaihan na gustong malaman ang estado ng kanilang kalusugan.
Libre ang clinical breast examinations at mammogram para sa lahat. Kung sakaling makitaan ng bukol, handa rin ang lungsod na i-refer at tulungan ang mga pasyente para sa assessment.
Susuportahan din sila sa gamot at treatment.
