💸💼 SAVINGS SA BANGKO, MAY 20% TAX NA! | Effective July 1, 2025

Yes guys, totoo po. Dahil sa Republic Act 12214 (CMEPA), lahat ng interes mula sa bagong time deposits at peso bonds ay papatawan na ng flat 20% Final Withholding Tax — kahit pa long-term ang deposito. 😟

📌 Halimbawa:
Mag-invest ka ng ₱100,000 sa banko na may 6% interest = ₱6,000 kita kada taon.
Pero dahil sa bagong tax, mababawasan ito ng ₱1,200 — netong kikitain mo na lang: ₱4,800.

In my journey as a financial advisor, I always love to interview seniors. I asked what are their sources for their living today and what are their advices for the younger generations with regards money management.

Yung iba after nila magretire tsaka sila nagpagawa ng bahay and naubos lang don yung retirement benefit nila na nakuha, and as for them hindi sapat yung benefits ng panggamot at daily expenses kaya need pa din nilang humingi sa mga anak.

Yung iba naman malaki yung nakuha niya pero bigla namang nagkasakit, kaya bukod doon sa nakuha niyang retirement benefits nakakapagbenta din sila ng properties na naipundar nila noong malakas pa sila.

Pero, meron din namang nagsecure ng future, while working to earn, nagcreate sila ng passive income or investments. Yung kahit hindi sila kumilos nageearn yung money nila. Tapos with complete coverage ng insurance para kapag nagkasakit sila ng malala ay doon na kukuhanin ang pampagamot nila and one of the best thing is hindi niya kailangang manghingi pa sa iba para mabuhay kahit hindi na nagtatrabaho may magandang pamana plan na din para sa maiiwan nila.

Let us be wiser, wala yan sa laki or liit ng income mo, nasa tamang pagpaplano at pageexecute nito para sa pangarap mo.
