On 1 April 2026, several significant updates take effect:

💰 Minimum Wage Increase: The Adult Minimum Wage rises to $23.95 per hour.

🏦 KiwiSaver Changes: The default minimum contribution rate is increasing to 3.5% for both employers and employees. Also, note new rules for 16 and 17-year-old employees.

🏥 ACC Levy Update: The Earners' Levy is increasing to 1.75%.
