⚠️Scam Alert from IRD🚨
The IRD has warned that fake tax refund emails, phishing texts, and scam calls are increasing across New Zealand. These scams can look very real, so it’s important to stay cautious.
Here are some common warning signs:
• The sender is not using an official IRD email address
• The message doesn’t include your name (generic greeting only)
• The link does not direct you to ird.govt.nz
If you’re unsure, check with us before taking any action
