Nina Chanel Abney was just last week interviewed about her new way of expressing herself as an artist: making Jordan Brand clothes and shoes into wearable art. The modern artist is already working on her next creative project, which is to conquer the wonderful world of NFTs.
Abney is getting ready to release her first NFT project through GODA, which stands for Gallery of Digital Assets. GODA is a space for digital contemporary art that includes well-known artists like Abney, Pharrell Williams, KAWS, and Easy Otabor, among others.
Abney's NFT collection is called "Super Cool World," and it's basically an invitation to her colorful, carefree universe. It has 5,080 digital artworks that all have unique qualities that are similar to Abney's signature abstract collages of figures and shapes.
Since the collection "only" has 5,080 NFTs, which is probably not a lot in the NFT world, mint pass holders will be able to get up to 2 NFTs for.5 ETH, which is about $530.
What can you look forward to in Super Cool World? Abney hinted that, in addition to rare NFTs, certain pieces might be chosen at random to get exclusive merchandise, secret AirDrops, or even access to curated exhibitions.
The NFTs in Super Cool World pull you into Abney's creative mind. This is an exciting first release for GODA. But it also has a lot of unique features that make it a more interesting way for the artist to connect with Abney fans and the constantly changing NFT community.
