ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD 3.0: CELEBRATING HARD WORK AT OYSCATECH
On 21st January 2026, the 800-Seater Hall, OYSCATECH Igboora, was filled with joy and inspiration as the 3rd Edition of the Academic Excellence Award was successfully held.
Organised by Bab’s ICT Concept under the leadership of Comrade Abdullahi Ibrahim Babatunde, the programme was designed to reward academic excellence, inspire students, and promote educational growth.
The event was graced by the Rector, members of Management, alumni, sponsors, and students—demonstrating a shared commitment to excellence.
From its first edition in 2023 to this third edition, the third edition raised the bar even higher with 60% tuition scholarships for four (4) ND and (2) HND students, alongside cash prizes and meaningful gift items for other 12 deserving beneficiaries.
The most emotional moments came during the award presentation, when names were called, applause filled the hall, and smiles replaced silent struggles. For many recipients, the awards represented more than money they were affirmation, relief, and renewed motivation.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of generous sponsors and partners who believed in the vision. Organizations and individuals such as Bab’s ICT Concept, Emblem Concept, Mr. Soares F.O, King Adetayo, Exclusive Luxuries Wears, Samkeeys Kreations, XTY Wigs, Joham Empire, Comrade Pelumi Fire, Comrade Balogun (NALSSU President), Comrade Selfsame, Comr. The smiles of the award recipients told powerful stories of hope, motivation, and encouragement. Once again, excellence was celebrated, and hard work was rewarded.
Academic Excellence Award 3.0 proved that education remains a powerful tool for transformation.
