It was the year 1990 I completed my graduation in Economics and started working part time - I was sitting in the Office, having flunked becz my parents were not ready to keep in hostel for my LLB .At Belgaum in Karnataka . On That day I decided to do my PG with part time Job completed with first class and first in college .

At that time our family financial condition become very deep Downing.

I had realized to start my lecturer job with 1400 salary. half-way decided to do my MBA. (and had been quite vocal about it throughout).

"If you cannot stick with your chosen profession, you will never be anything your whole life !!!" - The said my teacher .

The words struck deep.

And coming from a person of respect, and authority, they seemed to be gospel truth...
.. Or was it ???

I had worked my whole life (or what seemed at the time to be my whole life) - to be Successful - to come out on top - and it had All Come To Nothing.

I felt Dejected..... Disappointed.... and even Depressed.

But the one gnawing feeling that was the strongest, and one I will Never Forget...
..I Felt Out of Options .... OUT OF MOVES.

Two years of hard work,Did MBA in marketing from Karnataka university as a Gold Medalist - But in 2005 lost my father who met with attack .At that again I was sad And I also left my Job due to some politics in the college. Started my own Speaking classes .but my earning was not sound .In 2005 One of Unit manager of ICICI Pru life was approached me to became an insurance advisor. But I neglected him for 5 months .one day he called me for dinner in top hotel of the city at that time top achiver prize distribution conclave was there . By this event thought came in my mind many can do this then why not me ...... on that day I turndown my opinion and cleared my IRDA exam . and In three months I completed. My MD RT. At that time my Husband was not supported .He was against of insurance selling profession so
No More Options, No More Moves up my sleeve....

I wanted to prove him wrong

But How?

A small ray of hope appeared.
My Mentor told me.To shift from advisor to Unit manager "In 2006 June 15 I joined Kotak life insurance as unit manager the 'Skills' and hard work be replaced by the 'Results' And I become fastest promotion taker .in branch and pan India as well and realize that
If you can deliver a Result, nobody will bother about your Skills.

Long story short, in 2009 I booked my new 2 bhk flat and I got possession in 7 may 2010 . (my dreamed date was sept 2010 ) I was happy becz I ful field the dream of my father becz till my father alive we were living in rented house . But in 2013 march I met with road accident. Dr suggested me to to take complete one year rest .so left my job and in 2015 I started my proprietorship as a sampurnaraksha financial and tax solution.

Those months helped me re-shape and re-tool for a different Future.

Here my inlawa and husbad was wrong.

Flunking that year was the best thing that happened to me

Three Lessons from this:
1) Failing is cool.
Sometimes a negative push can help you achieve far more than a positive motivation.
Especially the internal motivation to prove someone wrong about you.

2) We are entering a Constantly Shifting market where the successes of the future will be determined NOT by What You Know, but by How Fast You Can Learn, Un-Learn and Re-Learn the micro-skills necessary for the market at THAT point of time.

3) Focus on mastering skills that are Industry-agnostic.
The Good News about the Bad News is that - with the Right Mindset, and the Right Toolset, you can enter and exit any Industry AT WILL, and collect rewards, recognition and learnings to take into your next life, while rapidly shedding redundant parts of the old one.

So my message to you is....
Keep Learning!! Up grading Keep moving with the times...!! Keep believing in yourself.... and the more Valuable you become....everything will fall into place...
