Extension of Due Dates:

Finally, Ministry of Finance has issued a Press Release extending various due dates for FY 2019-20 as under:

a. Tax Returns for Taxpayers who are required to get accounts audited - 31 January 2021

b. Tax Returns for Taxpayers who are required to furnish Transfer Pricing Reports - 31 January 2021

c. Tax Returns for other Taxpayers - 31 December 2020

d. Furnishing of various Audit Reports (Tax Audit Report, Form 3CEB, etc.) - 31 December 2020

Further, CBIC has extended due date for Annual Return (Form GSTR-9 and GSTR-9A) and Reconciliation Statement (GSTR-9C) for FY 2018-19 to 31 December 2020.

This comes as a big sigh of relief for all Taxpayers!
