HMRC has extended self assessment tax return deadline to end of February.

It's not too early to get your house in order. Self employed, partnerships, SME's . It's not too difficult to gather your receipts note down other expenses like lease and rent payments, remember loan repayments. Look at your business bank account for income deposits. December is just around the corner.

It's a strange year so far, and that applies to taxes as well. Under the circumstances it is best to stick to the basics. Ensure you have all your records related to company, self employed and and personal incomes and expenses (including car business mileage and travel expenses). All income and it's type has to be reported. Remember to keep records related to vehicle and equipment purchases.
