This is now coming into effect from 18th November 2025!

As part of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, it will become mandatory for company directors and people with significant control (PSCs) to verify their identity to prove who they are.

After 18th November all directors will need to include their personal code (generated once identity verification has been carried out) on their companies next confirmation statement. A confirmation statement will not be able to be filed without it. If you do not comply with identity verification requirements on time you may be committing an offence and may have to pay a financial penalty or fine.

As an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP)we are allowed to carry out identity verifications for Companies House.

If you are a company director or PSC please email [email protected] and get your ID verified ready for the upcoming changes.

As part of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, from Autumn 2025 it will become mandatory for company directors and people with significant control (PSCs) to verify their identity to prove who they are.

In preparation we can now announce we have been approved as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), enabling us to carry out identity verifications for Companies House.

Currently in the Beta trial phase, MTD ITSA will affect self-employed/landlords who have income from self-employment or property (or both) which exceeds £50,000 from April 2026.
