💫 One year of MJB Accounting Solutions!
A whole year since I took the leap - and what a year it’s been.
It hasn’t been easy, and it certainly hasn’t looked how I thought it would.
But it’s been worth every step.
This first year of running my business has been full of lessons - about trust, patience, and finding my feet after years in corporate life.
There have been moments where I said yes when I should’ve said no.
Times I worked with people who weren’t quite the right fit.
And plenty of days where I found myself second-guessing whether I was doing it right.
But I’ve also learned that clarity comes through action - not from waiting for the perfect plan.
That slowing down can be the most productive thing you do.
And that rediscovering who you are, outside of old structures and expectations, takes time and space.
It’s been challenging, messy, real.
And it’s reminded me that growth isn’t always about getting bigger - it’s about coming back to what feels right.
Heading into year two, I feel calmer, more grounded, and more certain of what’s right for me - and that feels like real progress. 🌿
