I’ve been giving financial planning advice for over 30 years

And one conversation has stayed with me throughout all of them.

You’ve worked hard, earned well, saved consistently, and built something meaningful.

Yet you still find yourself wondering:

“Why doesn’t the next chapter feel as clear as I thought it would?”

Most of the time, this isn’t because anything has gone wrong.

In fact, it’s usually because you’ve spent so many years focusing on building, providing, and doing the right thing, that nobody has ever helped you pause and think about what comes next.

On paper, things may look absolutely fine, pensions, savings, property, investments, but nobody has really helped you step back and ask:

✨ Can I slow down?
✨ Can we enjoy life more?
✨ Do we have enough?
✨ What do we want the next 10 or 20 years to look like?

That’s the part of financial planning I care most about.

Helping you use the wealth you’ve built, and creating a clear plan around the life you want to live, so things feel more intentional, calm and fulfilling.

Has there been a point where your questions became less about building more, and more about what comes next?

I’d love to hear your thoughts 💭

Boom 💥 this weeks gone so quick! Any one else feeling it?

Today I was networking with in London, talking about the 8 financial blindspots I often see for female business owners.

The conversations afterwards reminded me again how much mental load women carry.

Business. Money. Family. Responsibility.

Trying to hold everything together whilst still looking like you’re coping.

sometimes people don’t need another thing to do ….

💛They need space to think properly.
💛To talk things through.
💛To feel clearer again.

Yesterday I was at the .0 conference and there was so much value in the room.

One of my highlights was listening to speak and getting my copy of Essentialism signed 📚✨ I had a conversation with him and shared a small part of my own story, and it was lovely hearing how much it resonated.

Since then I’ve been thinking a lot about where energy gets drained unnecessarily.

What really matters.
What actually needs my attention.
What can be simplified.

I already know this book is going to shape my next chapter in a big way.

Oh and one of my favourite moments this week actually happened on my travels into London.

I got chatting to a lady who was travelling abroad to spend time with her best friend and we ended up having such a lovely conversation 🥰 LOVE those random moments ☀️

You meet someone for 10 minutes and just know you’ll stay connected.

I also received a really thoughtful testimonial from a client this week, which meant such a lot 💛

They’re both now fully retired and are on holiday, and I’m genuinely so excited for them ⭐️

Watching people move from worrying about life into actually enjoying makes my soul smile 💕

A few reminders I’m taking into the weekend:

Not everything needs to feel urgent
Simpler is often better
Good conversations really do change things
Protect your energy carefully

Have a brilliant weekend 💛

I know this client review will stay with me for a very long time 💛

When Gareth and Janet first came to me, retirement felt uncertain. They weren’t sure whether it was possible, what the next steps looked like, or whether they had “enough” to make the transition confidently.

Over the past year, we’ve worked through far more than pensions and numbers. We explored what work meant to them, what freedom looked like, how they wanted life to feel, and how to create more simplicity and peace of mind around money.

Last week Janet retired.
This week they’re on holiday ☀️

This is what makes my work so rewarding 💛

Helping people move forward with confidence and create a life that finally feels possible.

Huge thanks to them both for trusting me with such an important chapter of their lives 💛

If this speaks to you, message me FREEDOM and I’ll get in touch x

Today I’m travelling to Birmingham for the WomanWho Achieves Awards 2026 💛

This one’s pretty special, because it’s the first award I’ve applied for outside of my profession, alongside brilliant female entrepreneurs from completely different industries.

I absolutely love Sandra’s ethos and the way these awards celebrate women coming together, supporting each other and being recognised for the brilliance they bring to the world through their work.

For anyone that knows me, knows my work goes far beyond money.

👉It’s the conversations people avoid.
👉The life transitions.
👉The worries around retirement, burnout, family and “what happens next?”

I want people to feel calm clear and more in control of their finances and future and that anything is possible!

Whatever happens today, I already feel proud to be in the room 💛

Who will I be seeing today? Do come and say hi 👋

Doing a Happy Dance! 💃 as I’ve just received this email 😍

I’m so pleased to share that I’ve been nominated again for the Verve Awards 2026, Best Client Outcomes 💛

Winning this award last year meant so much to me because it recognised the part of my work I care about most, helping people feel clearer, calmer and more confident about their future.

A huge thank you to everyone who nominated me 🥰I’m honestly so grateful for your support and trust.

Anyone who knows me will know that I work very deeply with my clients. It’s about understanding what’s really going on in their lives, helping them through big decisions, life changes, worries and uncertainty, and supporting them to create a future that feels right for them.

I’d absolutely love to keep the honour this year and I’m really proud to have made it through to the next stage 💛

How warm is it today! ☀️😍

So a little quieter this week on the outside… but lots going on in the background 💛

First, a special one, it’s my dad’s birthday today 🎉 a grand young age of 81! We’ll be celebrating over the weekend with family, which I’m really looking forward to 🥰

And earlier this week it was my bestie’s birthday too 🎂😍 hope you’re having a brilliant weekend

Work wise, I’ve spent a lot of time behind the scenes.

I’m in the middle of planning my client summer soirée in July and looking at different ideas. I think I’ve landed on something really fun… a sip and paint evening with a glass of prosecco 🥂🎨

I’m really excited to bring everyone together!

I’ve also been improving and refining my business processes, just making things simpler, smoother, and easier for my clients.

Not always the most visible work, but I know it makes a big difference.

I’ve had a few financial coaching conversations this week too. So many different situations, but a similar theme coming up.

💭 What we think affects how we feel
💭 How we feel affects what we do
💭 And that shapes the results we get

Just being aware of that can change everything.

👉 You pause
👉 You respond differently
👉 You make clearer decisions

I finished the week catching up with a couple I’ve been working with over the last 2 months, and they’ve made a big life decision 🥰 based on our work together.

I’m so excited for the next chapter for them!

We’re also at the start of GCSE season 📚 best of luck if this is also the same for you!

Have a fabulous weekend ☀️💛

👉 “If I’m paying for advice, surely it needs to feel complicated.”

Many people believe this, even if they’d never say it out loud.

That real value must mean complex strategies, technical language, endless moving parts, and something that feels hard to understand.

Almost as if confusion proves expertise.

But in my experience, the real value of good advice usually looks very different.

It’s helping you get clear on what you actually want life to look like.

It’s turning uncertainty into confident decisions.

It’s simplifying what feels overwhelming.

It’s helping you avoid expensive mistakes.

It’s showing you how to use what you already have more wisely.

And yes, sometimes the best solution is surprisingly simple.

Because the real work is rarely about adding complexity.

It’s about creating clarity, confidence and a plan that supports the life you want to live.

Complexity can look impressive.

Clarity changes lives 💛

Something I notice often in money conversations…

The hidden stress people carry

People aren’t always stressed because they don’t have enough.

They’re stressed because they don’t feel clear.

👉They’ve got pensions somewhere.
👉Savings somewhere else.
👉Bits of paperwork.
👉Decisions they know they need to make.

And it all sits quietly in the background.

That mental load is heavier than most people realise.

Sometimes the biggest financial win isn’t earning more.

It’s getting organised enough to breathe again.

If your finances have been sitting in the background for too long, maybe now is the time to talk.

📩 Message me if you’d like to explore it.

Yay it’s Friday! ✨

I’m starting this week with some proud mum news… my son passed his driving test this afternoon 😍🚗🎉👏👏👏👏

Honestly, I had all the emotions 😅

And cheekily, he didn’t even tell me until he walked through the door 😄 Super proud of him how quickly do these milestones come round? 💛

Work wise, I’ve had some really interesting financial coaching conversations this week.

That’s one of the things I love most about this part of my work, I never quite know what situation someone is bringing, and every conversation is different.

One lady came to me feeling very anxious and stressed about tax.

Income tax now.
Inheritance tax later.
Wanting to make sure money is protected and passed on well.

And I know so many people who feel this way!

They’ve worked hard, built assets, paid tax throughout their lives… and then worry about what happens next.

But often, underneath the tax question is something deeper.

👉 fear of losing control
👉 wanting to do the right thing for family
👉 worrying about getting it wrong
👉 carrying money stress for longer than needed

By the end of our conversation, she felt much calmer and lighter 💕

Because once we slowed it down, it became clear that what she really wanted wasn’t another complicated strategy…

She wanted peace of mind.

She wanted permission to enjoy life now.

She wanted to know she could spend some of her money and still be okay.

Yes, planning is important.
Yes, tax efficiency matters.

But so does living your life while you’re here ☀️

I also started working with a new couple this week, which is always exciting 🥰

I never take for granted that someone chooses me to support them with something so personal, and I’m really looking forward to helping them on their journey ✨

On a personal front, we’re also moving ahead with plans for our own home renovations 🏡 It’s very exciting to see our ideas and dreams becoming real.

Now off out out and - I’m looking forward to heading out with the family this evening, making the most of the sunshine, good food, and a drink or two 🍹☀️

Wishing you a lovely weekend 💛
