Tavistock BID - This organisation has had a huge impact on the growth, success and future of Tavistock. They do incredible work and their list of achievements is ever growing, from:

- Raising an additional £150k in grants to fund projects in the town
- Successfully fighting against the introduction of the parking meters
- Investing in the christmas lights and bringing joy to so many
- Supporting local businesses
- Extending the growth of events like the Dickensian evening
- Fighting for the businesses of Tavistock and being a strong advocate
- Zombie crawl event for families
- Promoting the Cream Tea Week
- Empowering so many to go in to business

JP Blackmoor supports the Tavistock BID and all the hard work, Janna, Rich and the team do and thank them for all their hard work.

This year Tavistock BID members will vote on whether the BID continues in to the future, let's hope the members vote in favour of this excellent organisation! We’re incredibly excited to welcome Frankie to the team at JP Blackmoor 🎉

Frankie is a Chartered Accountant with over 13 years of experience in the accounting profession, bringing knowledge gained across small practice, top 10 firm experience and the fast-paced ecommerce sector.

Frankie’s values and vision align so closely with ours that we knew very early on that she was going to be a great addition to our growing team.

What role will Frankie play at JP Blackmoor?

Frankie joins us as Portfolio Manager, assisting Tom, the team and growing client base across the South-West and beyond with a varied portfolio from personal Tax clients, small owner managed businesses to our larger corporate clients.

Delivering honest advice, strong communication and the ability to help clients build businesses that create long-term value for themselves, their families and their communities, Frankie is well placed to help make a positive difference to our clients’ lives and we’re thrilled to have her on board.

Who’s been inspired by watching the London marathon? Well Tom’s knees are objecting but he’s considering signing up for the Run Devon 2026 half marathon in September.

Can we get some likes on this post to give him some encouragement?!

He ran it last year and the event raised an incredible £24,585 for young people in Devon. You might see below a photo bomb of Angie and their kids running with him towards the finish line 😂
