Mummy, Mama, wife, boss…but you can call me Grace! I created Mums+Sums for fellow working parents and childcare providers: those of us juggling many hats as well as the demands of running our own businesses. I’m a mum of two boys, a chartered accountant and self-confessed ‘career woman’. But as I’ve grown as a mother, the impossibility of ‘doing it all’ has become all too real. I started Mums+Sums

to regain control, allowing me to spend more time with my boys, working flexibly and keeping my hard-earned fees for my own little family. At Mums+Sums, our mission is to spread this feeling of freedom to other working parents, childcare providers, ‘mumtrepreneurs’ and family-orientated business. We’re down-to-earth, knowledgeable accountants who can help with all aspects of financial compliance. We understand what’s important to you and we help with that mental load by relieving the burdens of managing your finances: getting rid of the jargon, keeping on top of your filing deadlines, working with common sense to keep questions and paperwork to a minimum, acknowledging that you work around school hours, term-times and bedtimes (!), and freeing you up for the more important stuff. We also appreciate the personal financial stress which comes from running your own business. That’s why we pledge to beat the fees charged by your current accountant. We offer three simple service packages, each of which includes a range of complementary add-ons, so we pass an element of our fees back to you.
