How many times have you had a great business idea, only to find after a quick Google search that it's been done already. SO ANNOYING!

Let me run through one of my examples that went a little further than the Google search. I built an AI home assistant that controlled my lighting, heating, TV, played music, answered questions and even ordered, paid for and arranged delivery of my favourite takeaway just by saying "order a chinese".... and it was working really well!

I was over the moon with my creation and was talking to some friends about trailing it, when texted me one day with a link to Amazon's latest product, 'Amazon Echo'. It shattered my product in the time it takes for 100mb broadband to load an Amazon page. Gutted. Now my home is covered in Google Home devices.

The worst thing about it that I always had the ability to come up with th idea and build it, but the timing and scale was wrong. Oh well, time to dream up the next idea.

What ideas have you had that have turned out to be done already?
