In April, the Williams Denton team took on a steps challenge to mark Stress Awareness Month.
💯 The challenge formed part of our 100 Acts of Kindness theme, with a focus on being kind to ourselves and our mental wellbeing.
It was a great opportunity for the team to get outside, keep active and support both physical and mental health.
🚶♀️➡️ Everyone certainly rose to the challenge, walking a combined total of 7,881,014 steps throughout the month. That works out at an average of 11,421 steps per person.
👏 Congratulations goes to Kelly, who took first place with an incredible 1,031,188 steps. Well done also to Debbie in second place and Emily in third, following a very close final day challenge from Lowri.
To recognise everyone’s efforts, we have made donations to two brilliant mental health organisations:
MenTribe CIC – a men’s peer-to-peer support group focused on tackling mental health struggles through outdoor activities and challenges.
Amser i Siarad – a local mental health charity supporting people across Ynys Môn and Gwynedd who are experiencing a mental health problem.
A big well done to everyone who took part. It was a great way to bring the team together, promote wellbeing and support causes that make a real difference in our local community.
