A builder came to me a while back.

Diary was full.

Phone was ringing.

Work booked months ahead.

From the outside, everything looked great.

Then I asked a simple question:

"How much profit did you make last month?"

He looked at me and laughed.

"I've got no idea."

That's more common than you might think.

Lots of construction businesses are busy.

Far fewer know if they're actually profitable.

Being busy and being successful aren't always the same thing.

We’re looking for a reliable school leaver to help in our small, friendly accountancy office over the summer.

Perfect for A-level students or school leavers considering a career in business or finance.

This is a great chance to get real office experience and build confidence using Excel.

What you’ll be doing:
• Entering bank transactions into spreadsheets
• Categorising spending (full training given)
• Keeping everything accurate and organised

What we’re looking for:
• Good attention to detail
• Basic Excel skills
• Someone reliable and willing to learn
