For those of you who are charity trustees I have been made aware of a phishing scam around charity trustees. If you receive an email entitled "Trustee Annual Verification " inviting you to upload documents to confirm your identity please don't. Delete the email instead.

No problem I hear you say. That's ages away! But it would make all our lives so much easier if you got your accounts done sooner rather than later. Please!

If you've recently formed a limited company watch out for a letter allegedly from Companies House Register asking you to pay £271 to put your company's legal information on Companies House database. Do not pay them anything! This is a scam and the letter should be binned!
