1. Role Summary
With over 50 years’ experience, Warehouse Storage Solutions Limited is one of the UK’s biggest and best-respected providers of racking and storage systems. Looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the small, rapidly growing team, based in Harrogate.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Accounts Assistant will primarily work assisting with accounting and office administration duties.
Ensuring the day to day finance duties are carried out to a high standard of accuracy and the general office management duties delivered effectively and efficiently.
2. Responsibilities
• Processing customer invoices and credit notes.
• Reconciliation and distribution of debtor statements.
• Credit control.
• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
• Supplier payment proposals.
• Setting up new supplier and customer accounts.
• Employee expenses processing.
• Daily bank receipt and payment processing.
• Catalogue order processing, quotations and enquiry management.
• Answering office phones and greeting visitors.
• Replenishment of office and stationery supplies.
• Dealing with incoming queries from customers and suppliers.
• Lead generation from website enquiries including distribution to sales team.
• Support the field sales team with general enquiries, information provision and office/stationery supplies.
• Support the Finance Director and cover additional duties when they are on annual leave
• Any other ad-hoc work and projects as required by the directors.
3. Organisation Relationships
• Reports to: Finance Director
• Key Relationships: Managing Director, Sales Director and Sales Representatives
4. Minimum Qualifications / Experience Required
• Minimum of 2 years accounts administration experience.
• Possess excellent IT skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience of working with Sage Line 50 Accounts or similar.

6. Salary and Package
• Salary negotiable (up to £20k) and commensurate with level of relevant experience.
• 40 hours per week
• 25 days’ holiday per annum.
