Miss S - Accounting for Purpose CIC

Miss S - Accounting for Purpose CIC Accountants for the community, helping people help people by aiming to talk your language and to make your business numbers work for you.

Specialising in working with CICs, charities and creatives. Miss S – Accounting for Purpose CIC are on a mission to help CICs, creatives and charities to advance their own purpose and mission. We are passionate about making numbers make sense and empowering our clients with knowledge enabling them to develop successful and sustainable organisations. Miss S are all about helping people help people.

We can provide you with the standard services you'd expect of an accountant:

• Annual accounts and tax returns
• Bookkeeping
• Payroll
• VAT
• Gift Aid

But, we love being able to offer additional services that really make a difference to your creative or socially based organisation:

• Budgeting
• Cashflow Forecasts
• Management Accounts - explaining your current position in a way that makes sense to you
• Adaptive Business Planning
• Funding Applications
• Impact Assessments
• Earned Income Stream development
• Mentoring and Advisory Support

And, on top of all of that, yes, even with our small team, we offer training on topics such as:

• Understanding your Accounts
• Using your Bookkeeping Software more efficiently
• Trustees - their responsibilities, skills audit
• Fund and Reserves Management
• Improving your chances of getting a Grant

We favour Xero as a bookkeeping software, but happily work with QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Sage (online) and Sage50. Initial conversations with us are always free of charge, and you'll find that we always send you away with at least one golden nugget of new information that will help you and your organisation. Every month we give a days worth of time to an organisation we deem could really use our help. And for every new client we sign up and every service they engage us for, we plant a tree by donating to Ecologi. To book an initial conversation with us, go (on your computer, not your laptop, sorry, websites aren't our forte) to www.misss.co.uk/contact and book either a "Can You Do? Call", a 15min quick call to discover if we do offer a particular service, or a "Discovery Call", a 45min longer chat to get to know each other and understand your current needs. We look forward to meeting you. Specialties
