Well, what can I say, I am in the gin den, with fizz though not gin!
After a completely exhausting 2 days my helpers have gone and I have collapsed in a heap so tired I can hardly put one foot in front of the other but boy has it been worth it.

Over the weekend I have shared my garden with 80+ people, who came out in the baking sun and supported my charities for my BBC Garden Rescue(d) Charity Garden Event.

THANK YOU so much for your support this weekend it has been amazing 🥰

Give me a few days to come round and I will update you on the final totals but my original target has been smashed.

..........for those of you who know my story and have not had enough of my garden rescue experience here's a bit more to keep you entertained 😀
For those of you who do not I hope this story sends a positive message to anyone currently feeling rather lost and scared after a recent diagnosis or has a sudden change of a once stable condition that tip's your life upside down.
No one is an island and with support, good friends, a positive attitude (when you can muster it) and hopefully a bit of luck life will be different, but it will go on and may even bring new rewards and happiness when you least expect it. 🥰

Sonia shares how her garden became a source of strength as she navigated glaucoma and Sjogren’s Syndrome. After her condition worsened in 2021, Sonia found comfort in her garden. Despite the challenges of losing her driving licence and managing her health, her BBC Garden Rescue experience transformed her space into one that calms her.
