Pension Awareness Week Tip #5!

⚠️Be alert to pension scams⚠️

Sadly, pension scams are on the rise, and fraudsters often target people looking to make the most of their savings.

Watch out for:
❌ Unsolicited calls, texts, or emails about your pension
❌ Promises of “guaranteed” high returns
❌ Pressure to make quick decisions

✅ Always check that any company you deal with is authorised by the FCA, and never rush into transferring your pension. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Check your State Pension Forecast

Your State Pension will form a key part of your retirement income, so it’s important to know what you’re on track to receive.

💻 You can quickly check your forecast online on the Gov website. It shows:
• How much State Pension you could get
• When you’ll reach State Pension age
• Any gaps in your National Insurance record
Knowing this now means you can plan ahead and make up any shortfalls if needed.
