The most common tax code for the year 2024-2025 is 1257L.
There are several ways you can check your tax code:
• Payslip
• P45
• P60
• Your personal tax account which is managed by HMRC
• The HMRC app

Make sure HMRC has up-to-date details about your income to avoid being on the wrong code!
