d I have been sewing for most of my life, starting with dolls' clothes when I was about 5 and soon progressing to clothes for myself. I then went on to make soft furnishings for the home including curtains, blinds, cushions and things for the nursery. In the late 80's I studied and passed City and Guilds Embroidery and Creative Studies followed by soft furnishing and interior design courses. For several years I didn't have much time for sewing, concentrating on building my bookkeeping business. Then in 2013 I decided to make a patchwork quilt for myself, I bought a new sewing machine and was soon back to making things for my home. Then another change came when I needed to cut down the hours I worked to enable me to care for my parents, however I needed something to give me some "me" time so I started making bags but what to do with them, I had no idea and I was accumulating quite a collection. My sister had been making and selling at craft fairs for many years so when she suggested I join her for a few fairs I said ok. After sharing her stall at a few fairs I took the plunge and started out on my own. Since starting selling at craft fairs in 2015 I have increased the variety of "Makes" to what you see on my stall now and have created this page.
