With us making our way through September, it marks the end of another busy summer for us here at Libertas. The highlight, without question, was our Charity Golf Day that we hosted at Alloa Golf Club a few weeks back.

For the 4th consecutive year which must be some sort of record in Scotland, the weather was on our side, we were met with some glorious sunshine which set us up to have a great day.

This year, we supported the fantastic charity, Strathcarron Hospice. This charity does some unbelievably important work in providing families with support and care at the most difficult of times.

With your help, we are delighted to announce that we raised a total of £3,500 for this fantastic cause. This was only made possible because of the generous donations made by everyone who supported us.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who purchased raffle tickets and to all the local business and golf clubs who kindly donated prizes, without your support, raising this amount of money would never have been possible.

As the 2025 golf season gets underway, the Libertas Financial Management Ltd team would like to take the opportunity to wish our good friend and professional golfer, Graeme Robertson Golf, all the very best with his first year on the Challenge Pro Tour 🙌

When we first launched Libertas Financial Management Ltd, we were delighted to have the opportunity to begin working with Graeme as he decided to leave his 9-5 job to have a go at making it as a golf professional 🏌️‍♂️

And since then, Graeme’s game has went from strength to strength. At the beginning of August, Ratho Park Golf Club played host to the third Libertas Financial Management Charity Golf Day for local Charity Play Alloa.

It was another hugely successful day welcoming new and familiar faces along to what was a hotly contested event!

With everyone’s support, we raised a fantastic sum of £3,317.50 which Play Alloa have confirmed will go a long way in helping them provide new equipment which will make a meaningful impact on their work to provide quality play and social opportunities to all people regardless of disability.

Senior Management Project Manager, Maira Malcolm at Play Alloa had this to say, “I honestly cannot thank you, your clients, friends and family enough for the incredible support.”

We wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated, to those of you who donated, Ratho Park Golf Club for hosting our day and of course, all the local businesses/golf courses who very kindly sponsored the prizes for the raffle. Our event would simply not go ahead without your support.

In just 3 years, we’ve been able to raise over £11,000 for Strathcarron Hospice, Home-Start Clackmannanshire and Play Alloa. It’s something we’re extremely proud of and will look forward to continuing in the years to come.

That’s a wrap!
