The only thing better than ice cream is ice cream with a cause, and that's exactly what Payworks staff were celebrating at HQ today!

Local ice cream legend Fête 🍦+☕️ arrived in site and brought with them their custom-created flavour by Ava, this year's Children's Rehabilitation Fdn ambassador. Her cookie butter flavour was a huge hit, and we were happy to be able to support CRF through their work with Fête.

Sun, smiles and sweet treats- a perfect break in a busy summer day! 🌞😊🍦

This June is National Indigenous History Month, which means we are celebrating all our Indigenous partners and businesses across Canada.

We’re grateful to have the opportunity to serve these businesses - like our friends at Indigenous Reflections in Winnipeg - and we look forward to doing so for years to come. 🧡

What does a rainy afternoon in Calgary look like for a group of pre-teen girls? For the kids at whileshe_istrue - they’re coding. 💻

Since 2022, While She is True has been teaching young girls to code in communities across Canada, all thanks to the vision of founder Ebun Makinde, who built the program she wished she'd had growing up.

We are proud to support While She is True …and the next generation of women in tech!💪

In 2025 alone, Payworks staff logged 2,600 volunteer hours. That’s nearly 350 days of giving back! 🧡But over the last ten years, we’ve accumulated a whopping 9,200 volunteer hours!

From children's hospitals, food banks, e-sports tournaments, furniture builds, to so much more – it was all made possible because our Payworks teams are passionate about giving back to their communities by volunteering for a cause they love.

2025 was our best year yet, and we are so excited to see what 2026 has in store!

Plus, every attendee receives a free copy of our 2026 Canadian Employer HR Compliance Guide!
What we'll cover:

· ESA fines and what auditable HR documentation looks like
· How our HR program addresses each requirement

A few times a year, Payworks staff will participate in a United Way Centraide Canada Day of Caring to support a United Way agency looking for help in completing a small project.

Recently, employees at our Winnipeg HQ participated in a Day of Caring supporting the Marlene Street Community Resource Centre by packaging hygiene and wellness kits to be distributed to community members in need. Special thanks goes out to Robert Pierce, Associate Director of Partnership Development at the United Way Winnipeg for giving us such an inspirational afternoon.

We’re always happy to step in and in our communities and lending a hand to Marlene Street Centre was a great opportunity to do so. 💛

Yesterday was National Indigenous Peoples Day – a day for reflection, and a reminder that meaningful support happens year-round. 🧡

We're proud to support some incredible Indigenous-led organizations across Canada, and we’d like to give you the chance to get to know them a little better: the healing village being built on Lake Winnipeg, the scholarship program that's awarded over $8M to Manitoba students, the pop-up that became Canada's first Indigenous-owned department store, and more.
