It’s so easy to look for something else to do.
Post on LinkedIn.
Post in Facebook groups.
Send connection requests.
Check views.
Rewrite the offer.
Call it business development.
Some of it helps, but some of it is avoidance dressed up as progress.
The uncomfortable truth?
Sometimes the thing we’re avoiding is the very thing that would give us clarity.
For me, that means getting my own 2026 books up to date.
Not because numbers are punishment.
Because numbers are information.
They show what came in.
What went out.
What needs attention.
What goals are still on track.
What decisions need to be made next.
The books aren’t just compliance.
They’re business clarity.
So I’m going out on a limb.
My goal is to complete my own books by June 22.
There must be more of us with one business vegetable still sitting on the plate.
