As part of National AccessAbility Week, Red Shirt Day recognizes and celebrates the contributions and achievements of Canadians living with disabilities while promoting a more accessible and inclusive future for everyone.

At ICAN, accessibility means creating spaces where people feel valued, included, supported, and empowered to fully participate in their communities. We are proud to stand together today in support of inclusion without barriers.

Congratulations to Alanah, our Employee of the Month for May!

Alanah is currently our Accounting Assistant, and she is an incredibly hardworking and dedicated member of the ICAN team. Throughout her time with us, she has taken on many different roles and responsibilities, and she has excelled in every one of them. Her adaptability and willingness to step up wherever needed have made a lasting impact on our organization.

Whether she's supporting our financial operations or helping wherever a hand is needed, Alanah consistently demonstrates professionalism and a strong commitment to our team and the people we serve.

Join us for Kivi Park’s Adaptive Rental Open House!

📅 Sunday, May 31
⏰ 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
📍 Kivi Park

Come try our adaptive bikes, including the Fun2Go 2 + FunTrain2, VeloPlus 3, Bowhead Rogue Adventure E-Bike, and E-Azteca! Staff will be on-site to provide demos and help riders test the bikes. Helmets provided. 🌿

🚕 Free transportation available through Lockerby Taxi and Aaron Taxi from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Everyone is welcome as we celebrate making outdoor adventure more accessible for all! 💚

What an incredible evening at the Business Excellence Awards hosted by the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce! We were honoured to be nominated for the Community Impact Award and proud to stand alongside so many organizations making a difference in our community.

Congratulations to Community Builders on their well-deserved win! We had the pleasure of working with their team during the renovations of our Donato Residence, so we can personally say this recognition is very well deserved.

We are grateful to be part of a community filled with organizations and businesses working together to create meaningful change. 💙

We had an amazing time connecting with the community, celebrating inclusion, and seeing so many people come together for such a great cause. Events like this help shine a light on the importance of accessibility, belonging, and community support for all.
