📢 BIG CHANGES FOR SMSF PROPERTY INVESTORS

If you’re planning to purchase residential property through your SMSF, this is worth paying attention to.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Treasurer Jim Chalmers have confirmed a deal with the Greens to restrict SMSFs from borrowing to purchase residential property.

Here’s what we know so far 👇
✔️ Existing residential property loans are expected to remain unaffected
✔️ Current borrowing arrangements are expected to be grandfathered
✔️ A 45-day transition period is proposed once legislation receives royal assent

These proposed changes could significantly impact future investment strategies.
