A long, long time ago, my careers advisor suggested I should become an accountant. My mum bought me a calculator and several black suits, and off I went to KPMG Sydney... which at the time felt like a long way from my small school in Sydney’s West! But - apart from looking like I was going to a funeral amongst a sea of colour, I have never looked back.
The years since have taken me on a crazy journey from 10 years at KPMG to some of the bigger banks in London Town, and back to Sydney.
Through this time, I’ve realised 2 things: family is the single most important thing in the world, and that professionally, small business is where my passion lies. And so here I am!
When I’m not looking at numbers, I have a noisy, wild, and chaotic life with my husband, 3 boys and 2 cats. I should list some hobbies here... but it would be a lie - maybe in a few years I’ll have some time to do something for myself!! But at the moment, I couldn’t be happier with life!
