Your life has a balance sheet. You probably never looked at it this way. 📊

Time, energy, attention and relationships are the assets on it.

Unlike cash, though, you can't earn more of them by working harder.

Most people only audit their life after something forces them to: Burnout, illness, a relationship ending.

Here's the case for doing it before that happens, with three accounting principles worth stealing for your own life. đź’ˇ

✨ As part of CPA Australia's 70th Anniversary celebrations in Malaysia, we have been proud to create opportunities to support the next generation of professionals.

At Talent Connect: Internship & Graduate Pathways 2026, organised by the Monash University CPA Student Charter, students had the opportunity to receive resume feedback and connect directly with employers to explore internship and get insights into future career opportunities.

We were delighted to be joined by our recognised employer partners, Deloitte, PwC, YYC Group and Affintive and other participating employers Alpro, Life Care, Hong Leong Bank, Public Bank, Top Glove and Gamuda, who generously shared their time with the students.

Our sincere appreciation to Monash University, in particular, the Career Services team, Prof Edwin Lim, Dr Norita Nasir, the CPA Student Charter, and everyone involved behind the scenes for their support in bringing this event to life.

✨ During his recent visit to Indonesia, CPA Australia CEO Chris Freeland AM reinforced the organisation’s commitment to the country, building on 15 years of supporting the accounting and finance profession.

A highlight of the visit was a joint C-suite gathering with CFO Club Indonesia, bringing together senior finance and business leaders to connect, share experiences and discuss the issues shaping Indonesia's business environment.

Chris also met with CPA Australia's Indonesia Advisory Committee, whose members are among Indonesia's senior business and finance leaders, and the Young Professional Committee. These conversations reinforced the importance of strong professional networks in supporting the profession's continued growth.

We thank our members, partners and stakeholders for the warm welcome and look forward to deepening our engagement with Indonesia's business and finance community.
