I help women who’ve been carrying too much, caring for parents, facing divorce, grieving a partner; make sense of their financial world, in the middle of an emotional storm, so they can breathe again and choose what feels right for them.

Sometimes it helps to name the decision before trying to resolve it.

Which one is taking up the most room for you right now?

Giving your own future some attention does not mean you care any less about everyone else.

It simply means recognising that your life deserves thought and preparation too.

Sometimes the difficulty isn’t that you don’t understand your options.

It’s that the decision you want to make may disappoint someone, change a relationship or require you to put your own needs first.

When you’re used to considering everyone else, that can feel much harder than gathering more information.

How much are you carrying because you’re the capable one?

Work. Children. Ageing parents. Health. Business. Retirement. Separation. Loss.

Major life transitions rarely arrive one at a time. They accumulate and you keep finding a way to carry them because that is what you have always done.

But being capable does not mean the load is sustainable.

Sometimes the next step is not to push harder. It is to pause long enough to work out:

What needs your attention now?
What can wait?
What belongs to someone else?
Where do you need support?
And what do you want your own future to look like?

Putting some of the weight down is not giving up. It is making space to think clearly about what comes next.

If you are carrying too much and cannot see a way forward, a Clarity Session gives you a calm, structured place to untangle what is happening and identify your next steps.

What would it look like if you combined Atlas with Elastigirl?

Someone carrying the weight of the world while stretching herself in every direction to reach the people who rely on her.

That was the image that came to mind during a recent conversation.

This person had reached Age Pension age, still had debt and was continuing to work. She was also carrying considerable responsibility for other people, with circumstances far more complex than simply telling them to look after themselves.

Meanwhile, people around her were retiring.

Comparison was creeping in, along with the fear:

“Is retirement ever going to happen for me?”

When you are holding everything together for everyone else, it can be difficult to see a way forward for yourself.

Retirement begins to feel like one enormous, impossible problem.
But the first step does not have to be finding the complete solution or choosing a retirement date.

It may be creating enough space to ask:

What am I carrying?
What is within my control?
Which responsibilities genuinely belong to me?
What information and professional support do I need?
What would it mean to include my own future in the decisions I am making?

Being capable does not mean your capacity is unlimited.

You can care deeply about other people without allowing your own needs and future to disappear.

Sometimes clarity begins by making room in the picture for you.

The children needed help.
Your parents needed support.
Work needed more from you.
And the household had to keep running.

So your own plans were postponed, not because they didn’t matter, but because something else always felt more urgent.

Over time, “not yet” can quietly become years.

If retirement or your next chapter feels increasingly out of reach, it may be time to pause and look at what is getting in the way.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. A Clarity Session gives you the space to untangle what is happening, identify what matters now and begin mapping a realistic way forward.

Your future deserves a place in the conversation.

You don’t need to know all the answers before asking for help.

Sometimes the hardest part is knowing what to ask.

You can begin with:

“This is what’s happening, and I’m not sure what I need to do next.”

That isn’t failure. It’s a starting point.

If you’ve got questions, let’s talk.
