π° Super guarantee obligations remain a priority
Employers, this one is important. The super guarantee rate is now at 12% and the ATO continues to treat late or incorrect payments as a priority compliance area. Falling behind can result in penalties, interest charges, and administration fees that quickly add up.
There is also an important change coming. The Small Business Superannuation Clearing House will close from 1 July 2026. If your business currently uses this service to pay super, you will need to transition to an alternative clearing house before that date.
At Craig Baker & Associates, we work with business owners to make sure super obligations are being met correctly and on time. If you are unsure whether your current processes are up to date, or you need help transitioning away from the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House, our team can help you get sorted before the deadline.
