My wife and I moved to Lane Cove in 1996 and have lived here since. I have been a Lane Cove Councillor, representing the community since 2008. As a small business owner in Lane Cove and professionally acting for many small businesses, I understand the challenges that face small business in an environment of ever-changing government policies at all levels of Government. Small businesses are important to our community as they provide essential goods and services we rely on daily basis.

Sadly, as wonderful for Lane Cove is and the community that I serve.

Domestic violence is a reality for many.

⇢ 1 in 10 victims are young people.
⇢ 3 in 5 victims are woman.
⇢ Aboriginal woman are x8 more likely to be recorded as victims.

I am against domestic violence in all its forms and with your help we can support the vulnerable in their time of need with relief housing.

Australia Day 🇦🇺 is a special day for many individuals and families in our culturally rich community in Lane Cove.

It’s a day where we get to enjoy the freedoms and opportunities that Australia provides. For some, it’s a day they get to formally participate in the citizenship ceremony and get to call themselves Australians.

On the 14th of September 2014, Vote 1 for Scott Bennison above the line for West Ward to keep Australia Day at the Canopy.

Scott.
