Federal Tax Authority inspectors working with Dubai Police netted 3.58 million illegal excise items in coordinated raids. The first-half 2026 operation yielded Dh82 million in combined tax liabilities and fines.

Fifty-nine violation notices were served to businesses and individuals. The campaign targets distributors and retailers handling goods without proper excise stamps or documentation.
