Hon. Consul General Arevalo is a senior Philippine diplomat currently serving as Deputy Head of Mission and Consul General at the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE, holding the diplomatic rank of Career Minister.

With more than two decades of experience in foreign policy, legislative liaison, national security, and diplomatic operations, his career spans significant overseas assignments in Oman, Jordan, and the United States.

Prior to his current posting, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary and Executive Director of the Department of Legislative Liaison Unit under the Office of the Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs. He also served as Vice Chairperson of the DFA Bids and Awards Committee.

His academic background includes a Master's in National Security Administration from the National Defense College of the Philippines, executive training at the National University of Singapore and the Development Academy of the Philippines, and specialized training with the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

A Lieutenant Colonel (Reserve) in the Philippine Army, Mr. Arevalo brings a distinctive perspective shaped by diplomacy, public service, national security, and leadership across complex institutions.

His participation offers conference delegates an opportunity to gain insights into leadership, adaptability, public service, and the importance of building bridges across borders.

Ministerial Decision No. 197 of 2026 introduces targeted amendments to the UAE E-Invoicing System, providing greater flexibility for businesses while maintaining key implementation deadlines.

📅 Key Deadline: Businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) by 30 October 2026, ahead of implementation on 1 January 2027.
