Rockwell Land Corporation reported that its net income attributable to the parent company grew by 67% to Php 1.29 billion for the first quarter of 2026, compared to Php 773 million in the same period last year. Consolidated net income for the quarter also increased by 52% to Php 1.43 billion from Php 943 million.

This performance was supported by a 45% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenues, rising to Php 6.46 billion compared to Php 4.46 billion in the first quarter of the previous year. Residential development accounted for 75% of total revenues, while commercial development accounted for 25% (excluding joint venture shares). Total EBITDA reached Php 2.72 billion, a 42% increase from Php 1.92 billion, with residential and commercial segments contributing 60% and 40% to the total EBITDA, respectively.

PICPA Dubai successfully conducted its 2-in-1 Professional Development Seminar featuring UAE Tax Updates 2026 and Corporate Presentation Skills on 30 May 2026 at Aavri Hotel, Deira, Dubai.

The event opened with inspiring welcome remarks from Ms. Maria Jaqueline Gonzales, PICPA Dubai President FY 2025–2026, setting the tone for a day of meaningful learning and professional development.

Our first session, UAE Tax Updates 2026, was led by Mr. Norijan Muyco, CPA, CTT, who shared valuable insights on recent tax rulings and regulatory developments impacting UAE tax registrants, tax agents, legal representatives, and multinational groups. Participants gained a deeper understanding of disclosure requirements, updated penalty frameworks, and key compliance obligations essential in today's evolving tax environment.

The second session, Corporate Presentation Skills, was facilitated by Ms. Christine Filomeno, CPA, CIA, CRMA, CISA, CGMA, CIMA. Participants learned practical techniques for presenting financial information with clarity, confidence, and impact. Through an engaging workshop, attendees practiced crafting concise executive-level messages and delivering compelling recommendations. The session concluded with valuable insights on leveraging AI as a professional tool to enhance communication and productivity.

The program concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Mary Jean Matildo, PICPA Dubai Senior Vice President FY 2025–2026, who expressed appreciation to the speakers, organizers, and participants for making the event a success.
